Comet C/2006 M4 SWAN at 05.00 LT on Oct 4th 2006 as seen through the 8.5" F/7 reflector. A 1.5 degree ion tail and 20' dust tail can be seen. The comet sported fine streamers, a long thin spine and knot/condensation within the tail.
